Storybook Park Cover Contest In-Person
Participants may choose any family-friendly published book: adult, children's, fiction, or non-fiction. Your design must include the title and author. You may include your name/organization on the bottom of your cover. The Storybook Cover doesn't have to look exactly like the actual book. Use your imagination and be creative with your design using vibrant colors and even 3D elements. Your cover should be as weatherproof as possible since the display will be outdoors. Consider using waterproof paint and choose weatherproof embellishments that are securely fastened. Keep in mind the pallet will be displayed in an upright position. Please leave the back open and undecorated for installation purposes. Just a hint, Pinterest - teachers' door decorations are a great resource for ideas and the April 24th "Something To Do Saturday" has ideas and tips. You're in the illustrator's seat! The community will vote for their favorite book cover and a prize will be awarded for "People's Choice". The deadline to return the book cover is May 22nd.
