Shake, Rattle, and Read In-Person
Storytime Tuesdays programming begins September 14th and runs through November 23rd. Three separate programs will be offered to meet the specific needs of each age group. These fun, interactive programs will include stories, imaginative play, fingerplay, rhymes, songs, and art. Monthly reading lists will be available throughout the program to help caregivers continue the fun throughout the week.
Shake, Rattle, and Read is open to children from age three to six. We will use music to explore rhythm and rhyme and read stories that engage children through interesting plots, language, and characters. Children will engage in imaginative play to retell stories through words and movement. Children will be invited to create art that coincides with the stories read that week.
